Degree preparation courses for international students
Our International Study Centre provides international and EU students with a direct route onto a range of postgraduate degrees at LJMU following the completion of our Pre-Masters programmes.

International scholarships and bursaries
Scholarships are available to exceptional new international students joining the University in 2017/2018, including students progressing from the LJMU International Study Centre.

Bursaries are available if you need to increase your IELTS score by 0.5 in order to enrol on your chosen postgraduate degree.

Research opportunities
We offer research students the opportunity to become part of our vibrant research community, which is delivering world-leading and internationally-excellent research right across the institution. Supervision is available in each of our Faculties and we also offer Professional Doctorates, an alternative to a PhD for staff in organisations who want to research and develop their professional practice at doctorate level.
