Masters Degree Description

Our postgraduate Aerospace Engineering degree focuses on meeting skills gaps within the aerospace industry. The course develops your skills in the design, development, testing and production of flying vehicles.

We've collaborated with renowned industry links to help design this practical course. You’ll learn about core aerospace engineering concepts including:

System architecture
Structures
Propulsion
Avionic systems
Fight dynamics
Engineering processes
Computer aided design (CAD)

The modules provide hands-on experience and learning. They are adapted to new emerging technologies within the industry.
There is also the option to gain hands-on practical experience through industrial placement.

Entry Requirements

Entry can be made to the course through holding at least a lower second class award of BEng (Hons) or BSc (Hons) in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Engineering or other related subject
Applications from individuals with non-standard qualifications or relevant work / life experience who can demonstrate the ability to cope with and benefit from Master-level studies are welcome. If you have not studied recently you may need to undertake a Top-Up degree Entry programme first
