Our MRes Cancer Biology gives you in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge of cancer biology. You’ll also explore how new therapies are developed.
You’ll be taught by researchers who have published extensively in the field and who have close research links with Brain Tumour North West and Royal Preston Hospital.
You'll start the MRes Cancer Biology with taught lectures, tutorials and lab work. You'll then complete an independent laboratory based research project under the supervision of active cancer researchers.
A minimum of a lower second class honours degree from a UK university or its equivalent in a biological discipline, for example Biochemistry, Physiology, Biomedical Science OR A qualification or experience deemed to be equivalent to the above
International students should have an English language qualification IELTS at 6.0 with no component score lower than 5.5, TOEFL at 600 (paper) and 250 (CBE) with a TWE of 4
