Entry Requirements

Applicants will have a second or first-class award (1st, 2:1 or 2:2) at undergraduate level in psychology (or a related social or medical science subject). Ideally your undergraduate study will have had a research methods component evident across the degree and a final year research project/dissertation.

It is recommended that applicants will hold Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC with the British Psychological Society (BPS)) if they intend to pursue further training in psychology in the UK, but this is not a specific requirement of entry.

You may also be considered for course entry if your undergraduate studies are outside of the social or medical sciences, but you can demonstrate evidence of work experience relevant to a clinical or health psychology context alongside your undergraduate qualification.

Please note: If you would like to obtain GBC with the BPS at this point, or you are completely new to Psychology, you may wish to apply for a place on our MSc Psychology of Mental Health (Conversion) course.
