MSc Clinical Exercise Physiology

  • DeadlineStudy Details:

    MSc Full-time 1 year, Part-time Typically 2 years

Course Description

Our MSc in Clinical Exercise Physiology will equip you with the knowledge and skills to promote the prescription of exercise, both as a preventative measure and as a treatment/therapy.

As the crucial role of exercise and physical activity in the treatment of diseases and medical conditions is increasingly understood, health practitioners are encouraged to consider exercise prescriptions when designing treatment plans and health interventions.

Formerly known as the MSc in Exercise as Medicine, the MSc in Clinical Exercise Physiology degree has been developed in response to this trend, drawing on Loughborough University’s internationally recognised research on physical activity and health.

Entry Requirements

An honours degree (2:1 or above) or equivalent international qualification in sports science or other relevant biological science that contains a substantial element of exercise physiology, such as applied human physiology or physiotherapy.
