This course focuses on applying clinical exercise physiology practice to real-world contexts, developing students’ communication, motivation and interpersonal skills to help them succeed in the workplace. You will be granted opportunities throughout the programme for inter-professional learning, where students from different professional areas will collaborate to improve quality of care, transferring knowledge, skills and insights for employment in integrated health and social care settings. Our state-of-the-art facilities have recently been awarded £5.8m funding for further development, while the School of Sport and wider University of Wolverhampton research institutions work with local, national and international research initiatives.
You will need a good degree in a related subject (normally 2:2 or above).
Applications may be considered from those without an undergraduate degree (or in an unrelated discipline) provided that they can demonstrate significant professional experience in sport and exercise sciences or a related sector. These applications will be considered by the Programme Lead. Please contact Dr Ian Lahart with such enquiries.
