The development of this new combined Knowledge & Practice programme is a major benefit for Clinical Psychologists in the UK looking to develop specialist knowledge and skills in the field. Our programme has an exceptionally strong reputation for the standard of training we offer, but to date this has been limited to the underpinning knowledge component of the British Psychological Society (BPS) Qualification in Clinical Neuropsychology (QiCN). The new combined programme adds the clinical practice component to our existing BPS accredited programme.
Applicants must have a Doctorate of Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy) or Doctorate of Counselling Psychology from the UK. The Doctorate degree must meet the requirements to register with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC). Applicants with a qualification in Clinical Psychology from outside the UK may be admitted if they can demonstrate that they are eligible for registration with the HCPC.
All applicants must have work experience as a Clinical Psychologist.
This programme is designed to provide training in the underpinning knowledge and practice of Clinical Neuropsychology in order to meet the requirements for entry to the British Psychological Society Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists.
