MSc PGDip Clinical Oncology

Course Description

For health care professionals from diverse backgrounds who wish to expand their knowledge of theoretical and practical aspects of oncology, this full-time programme is particularly suitable for medical professionals with an interest in clinical, medical, surgical and translational oncology. Unique to this programme is the exciting opportunity to gain clinical observership status and log your hours observing in a UK based hospital.

Entry Requirements

Applicants for admission to the MSc/PGDip should normally hold, or be expecting to achieve, a 2:1 Honours degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant subject. Industrial experience and professional qualifications will also be taken into account.

International students

For students whose first language is not English, one of the following English language qualifications is required:

 

IELTS 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in any band is equivalent to:

 

 

    • TOEFL: 80 overall with no less than 19 in Reading, 19 in Listening, 21 in Speaking and 19 in Writing

 

    • Pearson Test of English (PTE): Academic 64 with no less than 59 in all four skills

 

    • Cambridge English (exams taken from 2015): Advanced – minimum overall score of 169, with no less than 162 in any component

 

Mathematics
