Study Details: MA 12 months full-time, currently up to 63 months part-time
Examine advanced quantitative and qualitative research methods in the context of broader education-related topics, with our MA Education (Research Methods).

In this programme, you will develop your understanding of educational studies and academic skills, whilst also acquiring knowledge and skills in research methods, including statistics, qualitive and mixed methods.
Normally a good undergraduate honours degree (2:1 or above), or equivalent from a university outside the UK, and a professional background in education/training – ideally at least two years’ experience of teaching/training. In exceptional cases, a candidate with a slightly lower degree qualification may be allowed to present additional teaching experience to support their application. If you wish to take a specialist pathway, you may also need to demonstrate additional subject knowledge and qualifications.
