DClinDent Endodontology

Applicants should be an experienced dentist with a minimum of 3 years’ experience on commencement of the course
Applicants must be registered with an appropriate regulatory body and be a practising dentist
For all students for whom English is not their first language, proof of competence in English Language as evidenced by IELTS 6.5 (with no component score lower than 6.0) or equivalent. This must be submitted at the time of their application
All suitable applicants will be interviewed which will include a discussion of the proposed research area
Satisfactory Occupational Health Clearance and DBS are required
Applicants are required to submit a CV and portfolio of 10 clinical cases to detail academic and professional experience and two references, including one from a Senior Practitioner or Manager with their application.

The DClinDent Endodontology will lead to the opportunity to qualify as a specialist in endodontology. You'll also have a doctorate qualification suitable for a future academic career.

Completion of clinical training provides the opportunity to apply for the membership examinations of the Royal Colleges for endodontology and become a specialist.
