Our MSc in Financial Technology (Fintech) brings together the current knowledge and skills of Fintech industry professionals as well as academics to provide a comprehensive programme with cutting edge technologies. We take an integrated approach to keep you well-informed in the fields of both finance and technology in a transdisciplinary fashion.
The individual modules focus on answering the technical questions of what technological capabilities could achieve within the field of finance, acknowledging the robustness and speed at which these technologies evolve. You’ll have an opportunity to visit Canary Wharf in East London, the financial hub of the world, to interact with financial technologist to witness the rapidity at which financial technologies are evolving.
You’ll also be able to tour the London Stock Exchange (LSE) to develop further understanding on how financial engineering impacted the financial markets.
You should hold at least a 2.2 Bachelors degree with honours.
This course provides you with the skills and knowledge to lead projects and create compliant, technologically advanced financial solutions. You’ll benefit from the links that we have established with various businesses specifically in the areas of Fintech offering great placement and internship opportunities that could result in exciting career opportunities. These include St. James’s Place (a UK-based wealth management firm), as well as local businesses.
