With two core modules covering compassionate leadership and emerging approaches to health systems our postgraduate degree will help you take the first steps towards a career in healthcare management.
Normally entrants will be expected to hold a first degree from an internationally recognised university at a minimum of lower second-class honours. We welcome applications from international candidates.
If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certified level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
As a graduate you could enter a variety of management posts in healthcare and associated fields.
This course will equip you with a wide range of transferable skills including critical analysis report writing presentation and group/teamwork.
As well as individualised study there's a real emphasis on working with others with modules incorporating group-based assessment supporting you to understand your role within diverse teams and how you can work alongside other team members. Through course materials and assessments you'll be able to focus on specific organisations and brands – thereby developing your understanding of key organisations and potential employers. We also invite guest speakers to share their experiences of working in different organisations and industries.
Whether you're new to the field or already have some experience our course will give you the skills and knowledge to pursue a career in management.
