Study Details:
Study our postgraduate degree programme in Internal Medicine at the University of Edinburgh. Our online learning programme will give you an understanding of common diseases encountered in general medical practice.
These entry requirements are for the 2026-27 academic year and requirements for future academic years may differ. Entry requirements for the 2027-28 academic year will be published on 1 Oct 2026.
An accredited medical degree (MBChB or equivalent) or a UK 2:1 honours degree, or its international equivalent, in a clinically relevant subject. You must have work experience in a clinical context.
We may also consider your application if you have other relevant work experience; please contact the programme team to check before you apply. You may be admitted to certificate level only in the first instance.
