If you’re a psychologist looking to enter the legal field, then our course is perfect for your needs. We provide a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of a broad range of topics in criminological and legal psychology. Building on your existing knowledge, we’ll enhance your professional knowledge to improve your career prospects.

Our aim is to provide a stimulating and challenging environment to develop the skills and knowledge gained at undergraduate level. We focus on the specialised knowledge and critical awareness of issues needed to achieve success within Legal and Criminological Psychology.

Student Destinations

There are a wide range of careers this degree will be useful for. You could work with the National Crime Agency, prison drug services, the probation service and offender management. Your degree will be well suited for working with victims of domestic violence, as a mentor for young people coming out of prison, and youth offending organisations.

You may also wish to continue your academic career by undertaking a PhD in either criminology or psychology.
