The MSc Legal Technology Programme offers a unique intersection of law and technology integrating legal theory with technological applications.
It aims to educate graduates and professionals on legal technology innovations transforming legal practice today and in the future.
It is designed for recent law graduates and existing legal practitioners seeking to gain a deep understanding of how technology can be used in situ.
It is also designed for graduates in a technical field (e.g. IT, Computing, Engineering, Data Science) wishing to acquire legal knowledge to develop careers in the legal profession.
For this course, ideally, we are looking for:
A second-class honours degree 2:2 or above, or relevant professional experience in law and/or computing/IT.
A minimum of three years' relevant work experience and the ability to study at postgraduate level.
The programme enables students to pursue careers in varied specialisms, these include but are not limited to: law firms; in-house legal departments; organisations providing legal services; civil service; and law enforcement.
