Course Description

 The Trilingual studies programme (French, English, German) of MAEIS  is an international as well as intinerant and interdisciplinary master. This one-year Master follows the slogan ‘Learning and living Europe’, the participants rotate from Nice to Canterbury and then to Berlin.

The teaching modules include:

  • International Relations 
  • European Integration 
  • Federalism and Governance 
  • Economy and Globalisation 
  • Professional Skills Workshops 

 

 

 

 

Entry Requirements

 This graduate programme is aimed at students who have already completed a first degree (minimum three years of study at university level). Further-more, students must have a very good knowledge of English, and at least a passive knowledge of French and German. 

The application dossier must be accompanied by the following documents: 

  • Motivation letter
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Application form
  • Passport-size photograph 
  • Copies of university diplomas and transcript
  • List of research papers writen during your studies
  • Two reference letters 
  • Copies of official English test certificate 
  • Document certifying adequate knowledge of German and French

Fees and Founding : A limited number of scholarships can be awarded to particularly qualified candidates who are not able to cover the cost of their studies and stay. The application is open to candidates of all nationalities.

Two different scholarships are available for candidates who are not able to cover the costs of their studies and stay:
1. Scholarships from the CIFE Fund for a reduction of study fees.
2. Scholarships from the CIFE-Kent Fund: scholarship to cover the cost of accommodation at the University of Kent, during the second term of the programme.

To be eligible for the CIFE Fund Scholarship, the candidate must:
1. Fulfill all admission requirements
2. Show a strong commitment to the idea of the programme
3. Be unable to obtain any other form of financial aid (private or government fellowships, personal income, parents’ help, etc.)

Fees

Tuition fee is 8900 Euros. This amount covers the study fees for the whole length of the programme, the student’s accommodation in Berlin, the programme-related travel expenses, the simulations and the professional skills workshops, participation in conferences as well as access to local libraries.
A limited number of scholarships is available for particulary qualified candidates.
