Our Medical Leadership MSc course will help you to develop your leadership skills in healthcare. You'll gain the knowledge and skills to face challenges in the NHS and social care.

The School of Medicine and Dentistryhave collaborated with the School of Business to create an innovative Medical Leadership MSc course. This interdisciplinary approach applies the latest leadership research to a healthcare setting.

Our course will help medical, allied health and social care practitioners become effective leaders. You'll learn how to lead staff and organisations through the complex and dynamic healthcare context.

Our course is designed to meet NHS aims and the long term plan. This includes the Integrated Care policy and implementation. It is also relevant for international healthcare.

Entry Requirements

Applicants should hold at least 2:2 degree
Applications from all candidates will be considered on their merits in the light of the nature and scope of the programme and if they have experience
Recognition of Prior and Work Based Learning in accordance with University regulations may be available
Must be working in healthcare or related practice to apply learning as they progress through each module to enable reflection and build the portfolio in preparation for the viva
IELTS: Score of at least 6.5 or equivalent
