Over the past decade, performance analysis has seen a rapid growth at all levels of sport. As a result, different roles within performance environments have emerged. This includes video analyst, opposition analyst, video coordinator, technical scout and data analyst. This course has been designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in these roles.
Our Performance Analysis and Talent Management degree is designed to provide you with the skills, experiences and networks that will put you at the forefront of sports performance. The programme links theory to practice, with opportunities to apply performance analysis, talent identification and development in real world sport contexts.
Students require a good honours degree (or equivalent) in which a major part of their studies has incorporated aspects of sports coaching or related disciplines (e.g. sport science)
Other graduates who can demonstrate a commitment to the study of sport or who have significant experience in the sport industry will also be considered for entry
Students for whom English is not the first language need to demonstrate their ability in the English language through obtaining an IELTS score of 6.0 with no component score lower than 5.
Applications from individuals with non-standard qualifications, relevant work or life experience and who can demonstrate the ability to cope with and benefit from degree-level studies are welcome
