Study Details: 2 -3 years part-time/distance learning
Our flexible part-time course is designed around you and your professional development in the games industry. Whether you’re a games developer, educator, simulation developer or work in a related field, it’s an ideal opportunity to upskill and advance your career.
You’ll get to create a unique work-based research project that builds on your current knowledge and expertise.
The course is delivered through practice-based and online learning, supported by one-to-one tutorials, seminars and guidance from supervisors. You’ll also have the chance to connect with other creatives and benefit from our well-established links with international games studios.
You’ll normally need a 2:2 or above undergraduate qualification (or equivalent) or relevant industry experience. Additionally, applicants must submit a games portfolio for review, demonstrating their ability to meet the demands of the course and helping us ensure you are aligned to the most suitable pathway (MA or MSc) based on your skills and career aspirations.
