Course Description

Want to gain a greater insight into psychological research methods? Then you’ll want to take part in our postgraduate programme! You’ll develop a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of a broad range of topics and techniques in psychological research methods. We cover a mix of traditional and non-traditional research methods, equipping prospective academics and practitioners alike for future challenges.

Student Destinations

We will equip you with a flexible range of methodological skills to excel as a PhD student or a professional researcher in psychology. You’ll be well suited to work as a research assistant, associate research fellow or research technician. By taking a PhD you’ll be able to work in an academic setting or as a postdoctoral researcher, gaining chartered status with the British Psychological Society in academic psychology.

The skills you gain in critical evaluation, analysis and written and oral communication will be highly valued within any professional role.
