MA PG Dip PG Cert Astudiaethau Cyfieithu Proffesiynol (Professional Translation Studies)

This Welsh-medium MA is funded by the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol, and is a national postgraduate scheme administered by Aberystwyth University and taught collaboratively by Aberystwyth University and the University of Wales Trinity St David’s. The scheme is supported by a National Consortium that comprises the main employers in the Welsh translation sector, including the translation services departments of the Welsh Government and the National Assembly for Wales, the Association of Welsh Translators and Interpreters, the Welsh Local Government Association, as well as members of both the private and voluntary sectors. This study scheme is suitable for anyone seeking to develop a career in professional translation or for experienced translators who wish to gain further qualifications and develop professionally.
