MA Choreography (Central School of Ballet)

A Conservatoire course at Central School of Ballet.

The course is aimed at emerging choreographers and professional dancers with a choreographic portfolio. This unique opportunity provides the intellectual and cultural framework to develop an understanding of choreography focussed on exploring and investigating choreographic practice.

Students completing the MA will extend their choreographic profile and professional skills through studio based work, independent research, taught elements, public performance and mentor support. The focus will be on ballet choreography, although other movement techniques such as contemporary dance and the relationship to other art forms can be explored.
