Course Description

This forward-thinking Masters provides a unique opportunity to study climate change looking at innovative and positive strategies for monitoring and managing the impacts from a geography and engineering perspective.

Entry Requirements

You will need:

The minimum qualification for entry is a high 2.2 (Hons) degree in geography, environmental science, engineering or other numerate physical science field. Professional experience will be considered on its individual merit in relation to the proposed programme; and publications, written reports, CPD activities and other suitable evidence of accomplishment will be taken into account. Applicants with equivalent international qualifications will also be considered. A minimum 6.5 IELTS (with a minimum of 6.0 in each category) is required to demonstrate English language skills. Applications are considered by the programme leader and another member of the teaching team as well as members of the LJMU admission team. Applicants are assessed on their application form and references.

You will need to:

demonstrate sufficient knowledge to embark on the programme

display the potential to develop high level research skills

demonstrate the ability and commitment to work at postgraduate level
