Course Description

Culture, Communication and Globalization is an international two-year Master Degree Programme in English, focusing on communicative and cultural as well as social and political aspects of global processes in areas such as marketing, consumption, organizational dynamics, international relations, migration and ethnic relations.

The meaning of Globalization

Globalization means that individual countries are tied closer together in terms of politics, economy and culture, and new media such as the Internet have made communication between people in many different countries both easier and faster.

If you are looking for a Master’s programme that allows you to tailor your academic credentials to suit both your personal interests and the rapidly changing demands of today’s world, consider Culture, Communication and Globalization.

Scandinavian teaching traditions and project-oriented learning

If you appreciate the informal, egalitarian, and high-quality tradition of Scandinavia combined with the advantages of practical, project-oriented learning, then you will find Aalborg University the ideal location.

If you can picture yourself as a project manager in an institution, organisation or company that aims to succeed on the international stage and in a multicultural society, an MA in Culture, Communication and Globalization at Aalborg University can provide you with the qualifications for which you are looking.

The programme offers graduate students the opportunity to develop their competencies with a view to working in institutions, organizations or companies with a focus on communicative, cultural, social and political aspects of global processes.

In-depth courses are offered in the areas of market communication, consumption studies, organizational studies, international relations as well as international migration and ethnic relations.

Tailor your own study programme

Students are free to choose their area(s) of emphasis in tailoring their study programme to their own needs and desires. All classes are taught in English.
