Course Description

The MA is a flexible programme, reflecting the nature of education including education research, policy and practice.

The MA is designed to support the national mission for education in Wales. The programme is flexible to allow for professionals at different stages of their career to further develop their professional competence and interests in education.

You will learn how to undertake and use educational research, to reflect on your own practice, using the latest educational trends and developments, to inform and enhance the way you work.

Postgraduate training is available to enhance academic and professional development, as well as seminar programmes, workshops and international conferences.

Entry Requirements

The typical entry requirement is an upper second or above, or equivalent in any degree background. Lower grade plus relevant supplemental experience can also be considered. C/4 in GCSE Maths and English required (or equivalent).

Overseas students are expected to have an ielts score 6.5 or higher if English is not their first language. (6.5 in Writing, 5.5 in all other components) or equivalent.
