Study Details: MBA: 12 months full-time, 24 months part-time
The MBA (Executive) is a career development programme aimed at experienced business professionals with more than two years’ business experience. You will be taught to develop and transform your leadership skills through strategic management.
Your experience at Leeds Business School will help to develop your managerial style and transform you into a strategic thinker, helping to prepare you for the uncertain global environment which we now face in business. On completion, you will feel confident in applying and using theory in a practical way, after trialling your concepts on the courseduring the Consultancy Project.
The time spent on our MBA (Executive) will expand your knowledge with cornerstone management theories that allow you to specialise within your chosen sector. Our Executive MBA will equip you for the challenges you will face in the future.
MBA Course Specialisms
To help you on the path to becoming industry experts, we offer the following specialisms: Healthcare Management, Marketing, Human Resources, PR, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Finance and Accounting, and Finance. This means you will complete two options from the above list and conduct your Consultancy Project in that area of industry.
Applicants should either have at least a second class honours degree or have equivalent experience or training, normally from within the work environment. All applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of appropriate business experience where they are making an input to the strategic management of an organisation. All applications should be supported by a reference, either academic or professional; all applicants should satisfy our University English language requirements.

Our MBA has been accredited via a number of additional awards by the Chartered Institute of Management (CMI). This means that students who undertake the MBA programme have the option to gain up to three additional CMI qualifications: Level 7 Diploma Strategic & Leadership, Level 8 Certificate Strategic Direction & Leadership, Diploma in Management Consultancy.
