Description

The MA in Film Production develops students’ skills in creating sophisticated, technically proficient, professionally produced, expertly-written films.

The students’ practical and theoretical understanding of filmmaking will be advanced by internationally renowned lecturers and filmmakers.

Students will have access to industry-standard equipment, a professional on-campus film studio, personal edit suites with requisite post-production software, and sessions with external film experts. Students will be encouraged to creatively explore the art of filmmaking within the context of a highly structured production environment, and should graduate with clearly articulated outputs that may be used to advance their careers in film production.

Indicative fees for Home/EU students (2016-17 entry): £6,895

Entry Requirements

  • you will need at least a 2.1 honours degree or equivalent industry experience
  • a submission of a visual portfolio that includes film and/or digital work is required
  • EU and international students need IELTS 6.5 overall (no less than 6.0 in writing and 5.5 in any other band) or equivalent
