Mixing theory and practice, this programme offers you the opportunity for in-depth study of organisations and the management of work.
It allows you to work towards a professional level of membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
During the second semester, you will produce an integrated dissertation and research report based on analysing a human resource issue in an organisation

Core classes: Business Skills; HRM in a Business Context; Contemporary Employment Relations; Employee Reward; People Resourcing; Research Methods; Leading, Managing and Developing People; Critical Issues in HRM
Elective classes: Labour and Diversity in a Global Context; Leadership in Organisations; Psychometrics in Organisations, Employment Issues and the Law; Managing HR in multinationals.

Entry Requirements

First or second-class Honours degree, or equivalent, in social science or business-related discipline.

For students whose first language is not English, achievement of an IELTS score of 6.5 (with a minimum of 5.5 in each criteria).

Prospective applicants must keep in mind that the above constitute minimum requirements and that meeting those requirements does not guarantee acceptance on the course.
