Course Description

Many events now have an international focus working across cultural, economic and geographical boundaries. Providing a sound theoretical underpinning of the cultural, political, ethical and economic aspects of international events management, this course offers you the practical and strategic understanding required to run international events effectively. 

Guest speakers from industry regularly share their knowledge and insights through a series of lectures, case studies and field trips, which keeps the course contemporary and industry focussed. You will also be invited to bring your own cultural experience and understanding to the course, making it attractive to home and international students. 

 

Entry Requirements

:Applicants should either have at least a second class honours degree or have equivalent experience or training, normally from within the work environment. All applications should be supported by a reference, either academic or professional; all applicants should satisfy our University English language requirements. 
IELTS 6.0 with no skills below 5.5, or an equivalent qualification. The University provides excellent support for any applicant who may be required to undertake additional English language courses.
