MA MRes International Public Policy and Public Management

Course Description

This programme combines study of how policy is made at both national and international levels; it is suited to graduates who work or wish to work for international organisations or pressure groups, or in the public sector, policy research or government relations, or to teach in further education; students consider the impact of international organisations, including the EU, on national governments, and develop an advanced understanding of the main theories applied in the study of public policy and public management; though political science is the core discipline, students can usually choose modules from other disciplinary areas, including: business and management; environmental sciences; international development; and law.

Entry Requirements

A good Honours degree (minimum 2.1) in Humanities or Social Science, or equivalent overseas qualification; plus satisfactory evidence of ability in English language if a non-native speaker.
