Study Details: MA 1 year full-time
Our MA in Literary Studies via the Welsh Writing in English pathway offers students a dynamic engagement with the anglophone literature of Wales in its various cultural contexts. By familiarizing you with critical debates and theory related to this distinguished body of writing, you will acquire the necessary skills to conduct your own independent research. Our enthusiastic and committed staff will guide your studies. Aberystwyth is at the heart of new developments in the study of Welsh Writing in English, and students on this MA will be ideally placed to engage with the major preoccupations of this vibrant literary tradition. You will also have free access to both the university’s superb library and information technology resources and to the unrivalled collections of the National Library of Wales, a hub of source material for Wales.
A minimum of a 2.2 (UK) (or above) equating to a mark of 56.5 or above in a relevant subject area, plus the relevant application documentation and a sample of work. European and International applicants can find their grade equivalence on our website.
