This course is designed to expand your knowledge of the law while developing your advanced legal research skills. You can keep your LLM broad, or you can specialise in one of the following areas:

  • Equality Law
  • European Law
  • Human Rights
  • International Business Law
  • Law and Society

Study Details:

1 year full-time | 2 years part-time

Module Details:

You can choose to do a general LLM, in which you study a variety of subjects, or a specialist LLM where you choose to study one of the following areas:

  • Law and Society

Choose three from a list including:

Entry Requirements

You will have a UK honours degree (or international equivalent) at a minimum of 2:2 in either a law or relevant social-science based discipline. Alternatively, you will have a Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL), a relevant postgraduate diploma or a professional qualification recognised as the equivalent to at least a lower second class degree. Other qualifications or work experience may be acceptable if you demonstrate appropriate knowledge and skills at honours degree standard.
