The challenges facing engineering leaders of the future are immense. Cost, margin and ‘value for money’ pressures continue to grow and the pace of technology development continues to increase. Exploitation of the new design space enabled by advanced manufacturing methods such as additive layer manufacturing (ALM) is becoming a key advantage for firms, and there is a growing recognition that engineering functional performance strongly correlates to a company’s overall rates of return.
There is a shortage of professionals who possess both the outstanding technical and management skills in equal measure; this course has been designed to create the engineering leaders of the future by addressing the core issue head-on.

The course has been designed with significant industrial input which ensures a practical approach in equipping you with the skills necessary for a first junior leadership role as a robust foundation for a career in a management or a leadership position within an engineering or technology setting. The ‘with industry’ option adds credence to this by giving you direct exposure to a relevant industrial setting.
