Course Description

The Mobile and High Speed Telecommunication Networks course is designed to provide you with in-depth knowledge of modern high-speed telecommunication systems and to enhance your professional development in the rapidly expanding field of personal communications.

The course has two main components: 2G – 4G mobile communications, and fixed high-speed and multi-service networks. Emphasis is given to developing essential industrial and commercial skills. The project is a major element of the course and gives you the opportunity to enhance your career prospects by acquiring in-depth knowledge of a key aspect of telecommunications technology.

Entry Requirements

You should normally hold a first degree equivalent to at least a British lower second-class bachelor’s degree in telecommunications, electronics or a computing-related discipline. If you have relevant professional experience this can also be considered.

If your first language is not English you must satisfy our English language requirement by providing us with evidence of a minimum IELTS score of 6.0.
