Course Description

This course is delivered in partnership with the ICE Postgraduate Dental Institute and Hospital. This partnership will allow you as a student to gain hands on, supervised learning in a highly technical clinical setting at their facility in Salford Quays.

  • There are no complicated pathways. We focus on teaching the basics very well to allow you to demonstrate a thorough understanding.

The PgCert Programme in Non-Surgical Facial Aesthetics (NSFA) is aimed at dental practitioners, medical practitioners and nurses who are registered with the appropriate body (GDC, GMC) and have a relevant degree at level 6.

Entry Requirements

Dental practitioners who fulfil the following criteria will be eligible for acceptance onto the programme;

  • evidence of full GDC registration 
  • evidence of full indemnity insurance
  • evidence of a relevant dental degree

Medical practitioners who fulfil the following criteria will be eligible for acceptance onto the programme;

  • evidence of full GMC registration 
  • evidence of full indemnity insurance
  • evidence of a relevant medical degree

Nurse practitioners who fulfil the following criteria will be eligible for acceptance onto the programme;

  • evidence of full NMC registration 
  • evidence of full indemnity insurance
  • evidence of a relevant nursing degree

Student Destinations

Demand in this job market has grew significantly over the five year period from 2013 to 2017 and shows no signs of slowing with the consumer demand for injectable beauty treatments growing.

It is expected that in the near future, practitioners administrating botox and dermal fillers must be educated to level 7, in accordance with the HEE guidelines.
