Description

Lead positive change

Our Online Masters of Public Administration (MPA) is designed to offer busy public sector professionals the opportunity to progress their careers at national and international levels.

Taught by the prestigious Institute of Local Government Studies (INLOGOV), our Online MPA is perfectly positioned to encourage progressive ideas. INLOGOV is the leading UK centre for the study of local public service management, policy and governance, known nationally as the instigator of innovative thinking for public servants.

Throughout the programme, we will hone your skills to help you develop the leadership acumen to strategically manage the public policies that will make a difference to people’s lives.

Studying the Online MPA with the University of Birmingham also gives you the skills and confidence to pursue a change in career, whether that is a move to a new department within the public or voluntary sector or a shift to a consultancy role.

There are a number of diverse career choices available both in the UK and abroad for those with the right level of education and global expertise. Furthermore, in the current environment of austerity, individuals with the know-how and the tools to drive sector efficiencies are key to the future success of our public services.

“This programme is helping me to identify gaps and resolve problems faster and more effectively. It is helping me view local government through wider lenses and a future towards e-governments, greater public involvement and co-production of services and delivery.” Ana Soochit, Online Masters of Public Administration.
