Minimum 2:2 first degree (or equivalent), plus PGCE or an equivalent initial teacher qualification. Although teaching experience is highly recommended (especially when related to the subject focus of the MA you are applying for), applicants with an appropriate academic qualifications are invited to apply. Students with 60 PGCE credits only need take the core module, one optional module and the dissertation.
