Course Description

The boom in film drama, powered by companies such as Netflix, and the advent of streamed media and web content, is opening up new opportunities for scriptwriters.

Imaginative and skilled collaborators are needed to work on dramas, web series and films across diverse genres and with the right skills and experience, you could get your work commissioned on TV or online.

Entry Requirements

Applicants should have an undergraduate degree in a relevant subject, and a commitment to research and reflecting on their creative process. The focus of the course is to provide training for your career as a screenwriter, rather than teach you the fundamentals of the craft. Applicants must thereforehave prior experience of writing screenplays, either as part of your studies or in your professional practice.  Students on this course will be committed creative writers with a thirst for telling their stories in screen media.
