Study Details

MBA 1 year full-time

Today’s aviation industry needs dynamic and sound management to meet the challenges it faces. So Coventry University and Emirates Aviation University will be delivering an exclusive course to aviation professionals in both the UK and the UAE. Graduates will be awarded a dual MBA in Aviation Management (Executive) from these two high profile institutions.

The course explores the nature and implications of challenges within aviation. Professionals will develop the skills and mindset needed to meet these challenges. And they will gain key leadership and strategic management skills they will need in future executive careers.

Leading academics will deliver an exclusive blend of modules, with an international view enhanced by studying in both the UK and the UAE. It is the ideal way for pilots, engineers and other aviation professionals to move into a management role. And an Executive MBA will help managers already in the industry, or those wishing to join from outside, accelerate their careers.

Course content and delivery has been tailored to fit the lives of busy professionals. Four days of intensive short block teaching, followed by supported study, means maximum learning and minimum disruption. Graduates round off the course with a 6 month industry based Masters Dissertation, showcasing the skills and knowledge they have learned in the first 12 months.

The course aims to develop those working in the aviation industry who will be able to apply the following business and management skills to:

  • Develop critical strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills which can be used in complex and changing environments within the aviation industry.
  • Apply the theory, knowledge and understanding of business and business processes to the aviation industry.
