The MSc Global Health Policy draws on LSE's strengths in politics and economics to analyse a range of global health issues and policy responses. Through engaging with both quantitative and qualitative methodologies, you will gain insights into a range of approaches to global health policy, including courses in health economics, sociology, public policy, and demography.

The programme’s analysis is at the global level, with a particular focus on health issues which affect low and middle income states. Our wide variety of courses gives you the flexibility to customise your curriculum so that you can pursue the areas that most interest you and suit your background, expertise, and goals.

The MSc Global Health Policy is delivered by the Department of Health Policy. LSE Health is one of the Department’s associated research centres and one of the world’s most highly rated research centres in international health policy and health economics, both for its research and institutional links. You will be taught by specialists  who are passionate about global health and are at the forefront of research into global health policy.

Students on the programme come from diverse academic backgrounds, ranging from medical doctors, to anthropologists, to those that have just finished their undergraduate studies.
