Study Details

MSc: 18 months full-time plus project work

The International Master Project Management (iMPM) is a collaboration between MiP Politecnico di Milano (Italy) and Strathclyde Business School. Each brings their respective excellence in research, consultancy and teaching in project management to an international teaching programme.

The programme looks at the strategic and holistic demands of modern projects in contemporary organisations. You'll gain knowledge in an emerging field that combines:

  • project management as a process to deliver complex change
  • strategic management as a process for formulating and implementing organisational strategy
  • the development of transferable skills. Particularly teamwork, leadership, communication, negotiation, conflict resolution and presentation for employment

Study Period 1 – September to January

Based at MIP Politecnico di Milano (Italy).

Based at Strathclyde Business School (UK).

You're also required to take 20 additional elective credits from either the Postgraduate Spring School or the MBA Summer School.

During the semester at Strathclyde, you also have the possibility to attend one elective (non-mandatory) offered on campus or in one of the school's International centres in:

  • Bahrain
  • Greece
  • Malaysia
  • Oman
  • Singapore
  • Switzerland

Study Period 3 - July to February

Based in Italy, UK, or internationally based.

  • Final project work or research project

Entry Requirements

The minimum requirement is a Bachelor degree (or an equivalent academic degree) of minimum three years duration and 180 ECTS credits in any discipline. Candidates should have a minimum Second Class Honours degree or equivalent CGPA.
