Study Details

LLM 1 year full-time, 2 years part-time

This specialism has been specifically developed to allow you to construct a programme appropriate to private practice or public employment in the field of international human rights law.

Students wishing to specialise in an area of law by following one of our dedicated pathways will also benefit from having that pathway named on your degree certificate, highlighting the specialist knowledge and experience you have in this field.

Entry Requirements

A good second class honours degree in Law (or a degree with a substantial legal component) is normally required. If you hold a good lower second honours degree or equivalent and practical and/or other relevant experience you may also be admitted in appropriate circumstances.

Applicants without a Law degree. 
We welcome applications from students with other qualifications or degrees in an area appropriate to the LLM programme. These may include Social Sciences, Humanities, Accountancy or Business Studies. Please note this list is not exhaustive and every application will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
