This course offers an excellent grounding in applied health research methods, including quantitative and qualitative methodologies, systematic reviews, randomised controlled trials, epidemiology and health economics.

This course can also be taken as a PG Dip.

This MSc is particularly relevant if you are either: a science graduate, a social science graduate, a healthcare professional wishing to develop health-related research and evaluation skills, or a professional from any health-related background interested in a career in health services research.

A number of our Applied Health Research students have gone on to study a PhD or MPhil with us. We also offer a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Health Research.
