MA 1 year Full-time, MA 2 years Part-time

This Masters degree is designed to offer students an intensive and increasingly specialised programme that will equip them for the challenges of entering a film and television industry that is undergoing unprecedented and rapid change. This programme aims to provide students with an artistic and technical route map into professional film-and television programme-making; with opportunities to specialize in screen and television directing, screenwriting, cinematography, editing and other creative skills; enable students to produce innovative work, executed and completed to the highest professional standards; with a detailed technical knowledge of and the capability to use equipment and facilities typically found in film and television.

Entry Requirements

Applicants require a UK 2:1 or international equivalent in a relevant subject. Please note that we ask for samples of creative work from all applicants. For the MA in Digital Film and Television Production this request is made by email once you have submitted your application as the online application system does not have the capacity to accept large media files. Creative work can be submitted on hard copy via post or via links to online hosting sites.
If you are a non-native English speaking applicant you must provide evidence of your English language ability. You need to show enough fluency in all aspects of English (reading, writing, speaking and listening) to the required level of the course you're applying to.
