Digital Signal Processing MSc

Study Details

MSc 1 year Full-time

**Please note that due to unforeseen circumstances the MSc in Digital Signal Processing programme has been withdrawn. We would recommend that you consider applying for one of our other MSc programmes which have modules in common with the former MSc Digital Signal Processing: MSc Communications Engineering and the MSc Digital Systems Engineering.**

The MSc is designed for graduates of programmes in mathematics, engineering, physics or computer science. DSP provides a good route from this wide range of backgrounds to a career in communications, instrumentation, bio-engineering, medical sensing, multimedia or an allied electronics field.

Entry Requirements

Applicants are normally expected to hold (or expected to gain) the equivalent of a 2.1 honours degree or above from a university recognised by the University of York. This degree should be either in electronics, computing, physics, mathematics or an other engineering course with a significant mathematics content. We are willing to consider applications from students with lower qualifications, particularly when the student has high marks in relevant modules and/or appropriate industrial experience.
If you are a non-native English speaking applicant you must provide evidence of your English language ability. You need to show enough fluency in all aspects of English (reading, writing, speaking and listening) to the required level of the course you're applying to. For more information, see:
