PG Dip 2 years Full-time

The Postgraduate Diploma is a two year, full time programme for graduate entrants, which leads to a Postgraduate Diploma with Professional Registration in Nursing (Adult). Developed in close collaboration with our service partners and users, and delivered by approachable and supportive staff with a national reputation for developing award winning nurses, the primary benefits of this innovative programme are: 1) it offers graduates an opportunity to study nursing in a community of exceptional nurse learners in an institution renowned for the quality of its healthcare research; 2) it enables graduates to ‘fast track’ to professional registration as a nurse.

Entry Requirements

Aspiring to make a valuable contribution to modern healthcare, you will be caring and compassionate and committed to making a real difference to people’s lives.

You will normally possess a 2:1 honours degree in a health related subject and GCSEs in Maths, English and Science (grade A*-C). You will normally be able to demonstrate 600 hours of healthcare related experience. This may include experience of healthcare support work, voluntary work overseas, befriending older people and charity work (e.g. with Age UK, Shelter, St Johns Ambulance).
