MA 1 year Full-time

The flexible structure of this course means it is suitable for a wide range of students with interests in politics and economics. This course is tailor-made to suit a wide range of students with interests in politics and economics. The interdisciplinary nature of the School of PEP postgraduate courses means you develop a wide range of transferable skills. The MA in PPE: Political economy prepares you for many careers in economics and politics, ranging from finance to international organisations and development. It also provides training for doctoral research in politics.

Core module includes: The PPE of Social Choice; Research Skills; Critical Theories of International Political Economy or Contemporary Issues in International Political Economy; Applied Microeconomics I or Economic Analysis for PPE; Dissertation.

Entry Requirements

The MA is open to those with a good 1st degree (i.e. an upper 2nd or equivalent) in any subject.
If you are a non-native English speaking applicant you must provide evidence of your English language ability.
