Postgraduate Taught Open Day - Wednesday 22 November 2017

Postgraduate Study at Manchester

University of Manchester

Date: Wed 22 November 2017

The University of Manchester will be hosting a postgraduate taught open day on Wednesday 22nd of November. This day is designed to introduce you to postgraduate student life at The University of Manchester and the broad range of postgraduate taught opportunities available.

The open day will start with a student experience exhibition, which will include stands dedicated to providing information about a number of our student services across the University. Staff and current students representing services such as Student Finance, the Career’s Service, Accommodation Office and the Students Union (and many more) will be available to answer any of your questions.

After the exhibition you can attend our welcome presentation where you will learn more about the importance of postgraduate taught study and what life as a Master’s student is like, including details of Manchester’s teaching and learning environment and the facilities and support available to you. The postgraduate student finance talk will provide you with information about the potential funding sources for postgraduate taught students and will include information about the new Postgraduate Loan Scheme.

Following this, you will be able to attend Faculty/School events related specifically to your area of interest. Our staff and students will be on hand throughout the day to give you information about the admissions process, funding options and support available to you as a postgraduate taught student at The University of Manchester.

You can register for the postgraduate taught open day by completing the online booking form. Further information about the open day can be found on The University of Manchester postgraduate taught open day webpage.
