Applied Mechatronic Engineering – Master of Research – funding options available

Mechatronics is a multidisciplinary field of engineering that combines mechanical engineering, electronic engineering, computer engineering, software engineering, control engineering, and systems design engineering in the design and manufacture of useful products.

The course

Study this course and you will learn to:

• Demonstrate the essential self-learning and communications skills necessary to be a successful engineer and researcher
• Look at the global picture of robotic technology in agriculture – alongside the academics that brought you the Hands Free Farm
• Develop software for robotics to create a working prototype
• Apply modelling techniques to simulate a physical mechatronic system whilst developing simulations to inform the design of real world mechatronics
