Six pathways to choose from: MSc Finance, MSc Finance (Accounting and Finance), MSc Finance (Economics and Finance), MSc Finance (Finance and Investment), MSc Finance (Financial Technology and Banking), MSc Finance Corporate and International Finance)

Duration: 1 year, full-time

Start date: September 2026

Location: Durham City: UNESCO World Heritage site

Fees: Home £17,000 per year /International £36,500 per year

Open to: Applicants are expected to have strong quantitative skills, with a relevant mathematics/quantitative module at university level or a minimum of A level Mathematics (or its equivalent) is a prerequisite for prospective candidates.

Entry Requirements

  • A first or upper second-class honours degree (or international equivalent)
  • A strong quantitative skills for the programme, which includes fundamental concepts of calculus and statistics. Therefore, having studied a relevant mathematics/quantitative module at university level or a minimum of A level Mathematics (or its equivalent) is a prerequisite for prospective candidates.
  • Applicants who have significant and relevant work experience in the Finance industry and who may narrowly miss the academic requirements may also be considered for a place.
  • No prior study in marketing required
  • English language proficiency required for international applicants
